Continental Minerals has appointed
Standard Bank and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China as lead arrangers of the debt for the Xietongmen copper-gold project in Tibet.
The project, which involves a capital expenditure of roughly $520 million, has an estimated annual production of 116 million pounds of copper and 190,000 ounces of gold. Jinchuan, China's largest nickel producer, owns 14% of the developer, and is also likely to be the project's offtaker.
