Bank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Alan Murray as a managing director for energy corporate and investment banking, Bloomberg reports. Murray was previously global head of energy mergers and acquisitions at Citigroup.

He has also been co-head of global energy at Schroders and served at British Gas. Murray will report to Scott Bergh, Americas head of energy banking t BofA Merrill.
