Citigroup Alternative Investments is seeding the Whitewater Master Fund, FINalternatives reports. Viathon Capital rolled out the credit opportunity fund in May 2009.

The fund aims to identify long and short investment opportunities in the U.S. and Europe through a fundamental, credit-intensive research process. It will invest in high yield and investment grade corporate bonds and bank debt and focus on non-correlated absolute returns.
