Kayne Anderson Capital has completed the fund raising for its fifth energy private equity fund, Market Watch reports. The fund has received total commitments of around $820 million.

The fund will make private equity investments in early to mid-stage North American oil and gas companies. It will typically invest around $20-150 million in the companies.
