State Street has issued two papers on alternative investments as part of its Vision series of thought-leadership reports, State Street reports. The Vision papers are designed to analyze hedge funds and private equity and their future prospects.

The two papers - New Views of the Hedge Fund Industry and Private Equity at the Cross Roads - are based on State Street’s extensive knowledge of hedge funds and private equity servicing. The firm said both the industries will adapt to the altered investment environment and continue to offer long-term opportunities for institutional investors.
